Way to Hotel

The two most convenient airports for access to Milat Cave Hotel are Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV) and Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR). Nevşehir is nearer- about 40 minutes’ drive- while Kayseri has more flights being a bigger airport, approximately an hour to seventy minutes away. There is literally no public transport aimed at tourists from either airport. The shared shuttle transfer service that the hotel can book for you in advance of your arrival remains the standard mode as well as highly recommended: it’s cheap, dependable and drops you right at the hotel gate so you don’t have to haul luggage over cobblestones.

If you are arriving by bus, the Göreme Bus Terminal (Otogar) is located right in the center of town. From there, you can walk to the hotel within about 10 minutes but be warned-it is an uphill walk. If you have heavy bags, call the hotel and most probably they will send a car to pick you up or advise you to take a taxi for this short distance.

Rental cars are very useful to get the wider region of Cappadocia (such as the Underground Cities of Derinkuyu or Kaymakli), but be prepared for driving in Göreme. The streets are extremely narrow, mostly one-way and up a hill. Milat Cave Hotel is tucked into these winding roads. While parking is usually possible on the street, you will need to be quite sure behind the wheel to park a car here.
